Hagogohe constituency in Buka District will now benefit from the second phase of rural electrification.

The project was launched on January 28 of this year.

As part of community development and providing better service to the community, the launching of the project also witnessed another important project, the supply of water tanks to the people of Hagogohe.

With increasing demand and need for water and electricity services in the community, these projects once fully implemented, will provide water and electricity supply to the people.

ABG member of Hagogohe Constituency, Robert Hamal Sawa, said he would now concentrate on other beneficial projects that will bring service to his people. These include feeder roads and foot bridges.

He urged the community to take ownership of these important projects and look after them well.

Present at the launching of the projects was ABG President, Chief Dr. John Momis.

The project under the ABG High Impact Projects scheme will benefit many communities in Bougainville.
