Life PNG Care Receives Donation from Trukai Industries

Life PNG Care is a non-profit organisation aimed at helping, supporting and impacting positive change on vulnerable, orphaned and homeless children.

The charity runs on donations from partners, which include, Exxon Mobil, PNG Tribal Foundation, Big Rooster, Badili Clothing and National Development Bank.

Last Friday, Trukai Industries made a donation of 80 kilograms of rice to LPNGC. This followed an announcement made by Trukai Industries Sales & Marketing General Manager, Andrew Daubney, of monthly donations to the charity.

The donations will begin in June, 2015.

Collin Pake, the founder of Life PNG Care, after receiving the good news, said, “We are even more grateful to Trukai for the monthly rice donation.

“Although we have 22 children living with us, the number goes up to about 60 during weekend visitations by other kids. It’s not easy feeding hungry children, hence, this donation will go a long way to assist us.”

In addition, Daubney said, Trukai Industries is committed to helping the less fortunate, and in contributing to the common good. Life PNG Care is one of five charity houses that will be benefitting from the monthly rice donation.
