The PNG Medical Society will be hosting the 54th Medical Symposium in Madang, at the Divine Word University and the Madang Resort, from the 2nd to the 7th of September 2018.
The theme for this year is ‘Rural Health Services’.
The Symposium will be co-hosted by the 2018 Medical Symposium Committee, led by Chairman Dr. Vincent Atau, and Deputy Chairman Dr. John Maihua.
In preparation for the symposium, a total of K10, 000 was given to the Medical Society of Papua New Guinea by LD Logistics Limited yesterday, at the School of Medicine & Health Sciences Administration Boardroom.
LD is a logistical company in PNG that provides logistical support to some of the most rural areas in Papua New Guinea.
The Advisor Government Contact, Pana Ranu, and Acting General Manage,r Chris Tarur, of LD Logistics presented the cheque to PNGMS President Professor Nakapi Tefuarani and Treasurer Dr. Paki Molumi.
The Medical Society Staff was pleased to have received such a huge amount of contribution from the company.
