Law and Justice Sector gets new vehicles

Two new Police vehicles were handed over tothe Waigani and Gerehu Police bythe Member for Moresby North-West and Minister for Health Michael Malabag on Monday.

The vehicles will assistthe Police in attending to Law and Order Problems inthe City.

Meantime,the Government in partnership withthe Law and Justice Sector has delivered eight vehicles tothe law and justice sector agencies alongthe LNG corridor.

Attorney-General Kerenga Kua while makingthe presentations saidthe government was committed to ensure thatthe rule of law was effective inthe Highlands region.

The vehicles will be operated by law and justice agencies including police, courts, correctional service andthe community based corrections atthe Berawagi jail outside Kundiawa.
