Landowners Unaware of Porgera Mt Kare Young Generation Claims

The Managing Director of Mt Kare Management Limited Albert Aliabe has brushed asidethe petition presented tothe Prime Minister Peter O’Neill bythe Porgera Mt Kare Young Generation Association.

 

Mr Aliabe visited EMTV to share and representthe Mt Kare landowner companies.

Albert Aliabe was very concern withthe claims made bythe Porgera Mt Kare Young Generations Associations tothe Prime Minister andthe Mineral Resource Authority.

 

He said landowners are not aware ofthe petition and do not support it at all.

 

“They were not supposed to givethe petition…landowners are not also aware of this,” said Aliabe.
 

Mr Aliabe expressed concerns thatthe Porgera Young Generations have to explain whothey represent.

 

 

“There is no commitment bythe State for the Porgera Mt Kare Young Generations Group,” said Samar in a press conference last month.

“Some failed politicians and former MP’s are behind this so called Young Generation in order to usethem to get money,” Mangape said in an interview last month.
 

Meanwhile, land investigation studies are underway by Summit Development Corporation to identify old and new landowner companies.
