In response to claims made by Rita Moi and Kenny Peter of a backdoor land title deal, her neighbour Jeniffer Niba and former landlord Beverlyn Wangilen fronted up at EMTV office to tell their side of the story.
Wangilen claimed that the family was squatting on the said location long before she and her husband Otto bought the land.
She said they had merely shown pity on them by letting them stay as care takers until she sold the land.
Niba who bought the land from the Wangilen family claims she initially filed for a court mediation to discuss the land transfer and eviction but the Moi and Peter family did not show up.
She presented a state lease and eviction notice to support her story.
