The people of Konoagil LLG will soon have access to better health care system as the extension work on the Lambom Health Centre including building of its two staff houses have begun and is in great progress.
Since commencement of work on 27th October 2023, contractor Islands Building and Maintenance is optimistic to complete both projects by early January 2024.
Workmen have started laying down footings for the foundations and they are focused on delivering the new observation ward connecting to the old ablution block.
Frame for the observation ward roof top including the 2 staff houses are ready for installation.
This shows that the New Ireland Government continues to deliver the much needed services to the people including investing K300,000 in this project under its policy of “The further you are, the more we care”.
