After successfully hosting the Simon Sia Cup, the best players have been selected into eight teams for Goroka Lahanis Selection Trial match.
The selection match will be played on the 24th to 25th of this month at the National Sports Institute Ground.
Players will be vying for 30 spots available in the Bintangor Goroka Lahanis for the 2014 Digicel Cup competition.
Unfortunately there are not many players from the Lahanis in the SP PNG Hunters for 2014 Intrust Super Cup competition, however the team will be banking heavily on Digicel Cup competition.
The club has produced some of the talented players well- known in the rugby arena.
Lahanis have been scouting players from the local competition including Gahuku Rugby league and Simon Sia Cup.
They won the minor premiership and were in the grand final against Stop N Shop Port Moresby Vipers last year.
The team is optimistic to have a strong side ready for this season.
