Lae’s Raukele club featured in four of the five division finals in the Lae Volleyball series, winning three of the four and asserting ther dominance across the competition.
Raukele snatched victories in the women’s A and B Grade divisions, as well as the big prize, men’s A Grade.
Disana beat MVC in the men’s B Grade final.
Under clear and sunny skies, Raukele’s B Grade women grabbed victory from Mainduo, winning 3-0. In the women’s A Grade the experienced Raukele side edged out BC Mates winning 3-2.
While the Raukele A Grade reserve men’s side lost by a set after a tug of war with KCR, their A Grade counterparts totally outclassed Nama Fox with an emphatic 3-0 victory.
