A cheque of K500,000 was received yesterday by the West New Britain Governor, Sasindran Muthuvel and Chairman of the Host Organizing Committee, Ruben Kautu.
Mr. Muthuvel acknowledged Kumul Petroleum Holdings Managing Director, Wapu Sonk, for coming on board as a Gold Sponsor.
Governor Muthuvel thanked KPH saying the support will go towards nation building, especially as a event that unites youth from around the country to showcase their talents.
Chairman Kautu also thanked Mr. Sonk and his staff of Kumul Petroleum Holdings for their financial assistance.
Mr.Kautu said, the money will go towards the running of the event as well as the games facilities.
Mr. Sonk said helping national events in promoting the skills and talents of the people, and showcasing the country through tourism and social development, are just some of the areas KPH is looking at supporting.
