Good governance and principles of democracy were the key messages delivered by PNG National Party leader and Sinasina Yongomugl MP, Kerenga Kua.
Kua said for better governing, people must understand the role leaders should carryout.
The former Attorney General expressed this at the opening of the National Party Provincial Office in Goroka, Eastern Highlands province recently.
With the current political uproar, outstanding court battles and the vote of no confidence debate, the former Attorney General says it is leaders who must be responsible in decision making.
“We can be anyone but it is important for us leaders to be considerate in making decisions that will benefit the ordinary people,” said Kua.
He added that despite the oppression faced by students, trade unions and the silent majority, individuals now have a choice in choosing the right candidate for the 2017 general election.
“It is up to individuals to elect the right candidate in the right party to help save this country,” Kua said.
Jiwaka Province will the next destination for Kua to visit.
