AS part of Korea’s preparation to hostthe 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, countries where winter sports are not developed were invited to participate inthe Dream Program.
The Program gives participants opportunity to experience winter sports and also exchange culture and friendhip among ther youths from all overthe world.
Fourteen year old swimmer, Jasmine Mileng and her coach, Vilima Puana represented Papua New Guineain this week long Program.
Withthe help of a Korean Winter Olympian, Mileng was able to masterthe skill of ridingthe board onthe snow.
The Morobe and Madang lass won a bronze medal for being one ofthe three fastest onthe board downthe snowy slope in a mini competition.
