Korea Ambassador’s Cup

Eighty fighters from eleven Taekwondo clubs in Port Moresby participated in a one day tournament this week.

Medals were up for grabs in the nine categories. Five medals were set for the men and four were for the women.

The tournament sponsored by the Korean Embassy, is a lead up to selections next week, for a team to represent NCD at the PNG Games at Lae in November.

The 2014 Korean Ambassador cup attracted, and gathered on Sunday, some raw and talented fighters of young male and female athletes, to compete in the tournament.

The Korean Ambassadors cup was held at the Boroko Salvation Hall over the weekend in the Nation’s Capital, Port Moresby. The tournament was an initiative of the Korean Embassy of the Democratic people’s republic of Korea.
