Prime Minister Peter O’Neill announced that Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will visit PNG next week.
Mr. Rudd only recently replaced Julia Gillard as Prime Minister of Australia and O’Neill said his visit will reinforcethe strong relationshin PNG enjoys with Australia.
Mr Rudd’s visit is scheduled for July 14 to 15. Duringthe visitohe will hold discussions with Mr O’Neill focusing onthe Australian Aid Program, trade and investment.
Prime Minister Rudd is also expected to meet with key Ministersof Cabinet.
