The Keleone Canoe Racing Syndicatetournament has attracted huge following with thirty canoes participating in its third year running.
The tournament held its finals last Friday alongthe Aroma Coast with New Ganilegi claiming race one honors.
Race favorite Constable had an early lead over Ganilegi but was disqualiflied for breaching race rules.
New Ganilegi which finished second wasthen awardedthe first position raking in price money of one thousand kina.
This puts Ganilegi in front with twenty points inthe six race tournament.
The next race will be on April 01st.
