Former Member for Lake Koroba Kopiago John Kekeno escaped arrest fromthe National Fraud and Anti-corruption squad last Friday morning.
Director of Fraud and Anti –Corruption Squad, ChiefInspector Timothy Gitua said Kekeno is answerable tothe misappropriation of K7 million for RESI funds in 2009.
Mr Kekeno wasthe Chairman ofthe Joint District Budget Priorities Committee than.
Recently,the Lake Koroba Kopiago District Treasurer andthe District Administrator were arrested in relation tothe RESI funds and are awaiting appearance inthe National Court.
