Keeping Road-safe this Festive Season

Members ofthe National Road Safety Council continuedtheir festive season operations today.

While random road blocks are part ofthe National Road Safety Council’s daily operations, members worked this weekend as part ofthe festive season operations to check vehicles for their road worthiness.

 

 

Many vehicles were caught breaching traffic rules and were issued with Traffic infringement notices and charged.

 

Licenses of those charged were also confiscated and officers saidthe drivers will be able to claimthem later atthe National Road Safety Council office upon payment.

 

 

These operations are ongoing and will continue until January 8th next year.

 

Vehicle owners have been urged to ensuretheir vehicles are in order before takingthem out onthe road.
