Kapris & Walimini won’t be captured alive, says CS Boss

Escaped felons WilliamKapris and Raphael Walimini will not be captured alive, says Correctional Services Commissioner Martin Belthasar in a news conference on Monday.

He was appalled that issues surroundingKapris since his capture causedthe state millions.

The Commissioner again made a call tothe public to come forward with information onthe whereabouts ofthe two; and reminded thatthe two are armed and dangerous.

He blamePNG’s wantok system, saying it contributes to  &nbspthe disrespect for the rule of law.

Commissioner Belthasar also said authorities are narrowing in onthe escapees. He was dismayed overthe amount of money being spent onthe capture of renowned prisoner WilliamKapris.

The CS Commissionerthen re-affirmed thatKapris and Walimini will not be captured alive,

Meantime, Commissioner Belthasar rebutted on a news article that describedthe Bemana prison as a ‘Bethel’. He said Bemana jail is a good jail; however, it’s some staff with bad intentions.

He said a number of development’s have been initiated to improverthe level of performance in containing prisoners.
