The National Court in Wewak dismissed an election petition against Maprik MP John Simon on Tuesday.
Ousted MP Gabriel Kapris alleged that Mr. Simon had used bribery and undue influence during polling inthe 2012 national general elections.
Wewak presiding judge Justice Allan Kingsley foundthe petition incompetent andtherefore dismissed.
Justice Kingsley also ruled in favor of costs to followthe dismissal.
