Kabanut Health Centre Receives Assistance to Continue Service Delivery

Kabanut Health Centre in Namatanai District of New Ireland Province will extend and improve the level of health services to communities.

A cheque of 15 thousand kina was presented to Sister-in-Charge Eddie Korogon, to support its operations.

The health facility serves an estimate 7 thousand people in 6 wards, on the West Coast of Namatanai.

Local MP, Walter Schnaubelt, expressed the need to support such service but funding has been slow from the national level.

The occasion also coincided with the unveiling of the plaque at Kabanut Elementary, which was supported earlier this year by the District.
