A member of the Cabinet has announced his decision to break away from the current People National Congress Party, and rejoin the Social Democratic Party under the leadership of NCD Governor Powes Parkop. Moresby South MP and Minister for Housing and Urbanisation, Justin Tkatchenko, made this announcement today with the support of his Moresby South Ward councilors and members; sitting alongside the Social Democratic Party Leader, who welcomed him back to the fold.
