On the eve of Papua New Guinea’s Independence, Justice John Logan, RFD, of the Federal Courts of Australia reflected on the importance of the rule of law in the nation.
He stressed that for the nation to prosper, it was essential that PNG focused on maintaining the rule of law and enhancing criminal law practice in order to for the nation to prosper.
He quoted similar sentiments made by the Queen and encouraged upcoming members of the legal fraternity to work towards accomplishing that goal.
