Jubilee Secondary wins IBS Debate Competition

Jubilee Catholic Secondary School in NCD is the new champion for the IBS National Schools Debate Competition.

The four debating schools did their school and NCD proud, defeating last year’s champions Sir Tei Abal Secondary School of Enga in the Grand Final Debate.

As the winner of the competition, Jubilee Secondary walked away with K30, 000 worth of school supplies, sponsored by Moni Plus.

The winning debaters also received K5, 000 worth of IBS scholarships each, along with the shield, trophies and merchandise.

Runner-up Sir Tei Abal Secondary School was presented with two laptops, along with K5, 000 IBS scholarships, trophies and merchandise as well.

Seven schools took part in the event, representing their respective provinces in the annual IBS Schools debate competition.
