School fees for Jiwaka students’attending Tertiary institutions have been paid, thanks to Governor William Tongamp.
The Governor announced over one million kina funding atthe graduation of Kudjip Nursing College recently.
These arethe eighteen graduands from Kudjip Nazarene School of Nursing. They graduated with Diploma in Nursing.
Special guest was Jiwaka Governor William Tongamp. He toldthe graduands that as a new Province, Human Resource development for Jiwaka is important. They are atthe forefront of achieving this inthe Health Sector.
Governor Tongamp has paid over one point two million kina in tuition fees for one thousand Jiwaka students’attending various tertiary institutions in PNG
The breakup ofthe funds will seethe University oPNG take outthe biggest stake followed by University of Technology. Meanwhile, for the local colleges in Jiwaka,the Melanesian TeachersCollege will receive over K100, 000 followed by Kudjip College of Nursing.
