In the court Election Petitions, the Waigani National Court has refused the application of petitioner Sunday Talita of the Enga Regional Seat to have the trial hearing in Mt Hagen.
Mr. Talitia's raised concerns today that his witnesses were being threatened by certain supporters of Governor Peter Ipatas.

Justice Collin Makail ordered that the two leaders must control their supporters and respect the rule of law.
Judge Makail said the restraining order taken bby Mr. Talita will cover the petitioners concerns.
A four week trial has been set from the 29th of April to the 31st of May, 2013.
