Waigani Ira Lais will have to pay three thousand kina for disrupting the match between Parisco Brothers yesterday.

Coca Cola Ipatas Cup CEO, Timothy Lepa, says the team will have to pay or will be disqualified.

The semi-finals of the Ipatas Cup started at the weekend.

Amidst the spectacles of quarter finals, this match between Parisco Brothers and Waigani Ira Lais was not to be missed.

Parisco Brothers, the experienced side moved onto the field with confidence.

Waigani Ira Lais on the other hand are known to keep up the fight.

The pressure kept mounting as they fought tooth for tooth. But it was the Brothers who managed to cross the try line first.

Brothers continued their good performance with a successful conversion try. However the boys from Waigani bounced back, only to raise the bar to half as they went out for break.

In the second stanza, Ira Lais improved their game to level the score 12- all.

The match was disrupted in the dying minutes and was called off.

In the rematch, Ira Lais walked home winners but the CCIC Judiciary Panel has made a decision.
