Intrust Super Cup Season Wraps Up for PNG Hunters

The SP Hunters have always been consistent performers in the Intrust Super Cup, in their three years in the competition.

This season has been no exception, which saw the Hunters depart the competition in the first elimination finals of the 2016 season.

Although disappointed by their loss, Butler Morris believes it has been a good season for the team all around, and they can aim to improve next season.

It hasn’t been the best season for the team, with a number of key players struggling with injuries throughout the competition.

The SP PNG Hunters have seen young stars emerge this season in the likes of Justin Olam, who has signed with the Melbourne Storm in his debut season, which sees the Hunters continue to provide the platform, to expose raw talent on offer in Papua New Guinea.
