Jana Zoriry – EMTV Online, Port Moresby

The Inter Youth Wave (IYW) Committee has opened up for partnerships with interested partners, sponsors, and donors.

In a first Partners Breakfast Event held at the Bible Translation Association Hall last Saturday ( July 21, 2018), IYW has opened its doors to potential partners to work alongside with, and sponsors and donors who were interested in investing in the youth movement in National Capital District.

The IYW’s initiatives were endorsed by Ps. Neil Smith, the International Director for Planetshakers through an online video call.

Ps. Smith asked those present to invest in IYC.

He further added that he could already see changes happening through the leadership in IYW.

Also present for the breakfast was Acting Director General for the National Youth Development Authority, Mr Reuben Akia who commended the leaders of IYC for their initiatives. An impressed Akia also promised to work alongside the committee to see the movement’s vision expand across the country.

Representatives from churches, NGO’s, the Next of Kin Productions, the P2-UIF Band, The Voice Inc., The Salvation Army, the National Capital District Active City Development Program, and the National Youth Development Authority (NYDA) also attended the event.

Another upcoming event which is scheduled for 22 to 26 October would be the hosting of the Believe PNG Tour leg in Port Moresby in partnership with the Planetshakers College in Melbourne and iSee Church in Brisbane.
