Inter-City Cup Enters Round 14

by Skola Sengi – EM TV Sport

Simbu Lions have crept up to sit at the top of the ladder in the Inter-City Cup this weekend.

It will be clash of the big cats this weekend in Lae, as Simbu Lions take on Snax Tigers. A win tomorrow will push minor premiers and top the competition.

Over in Goroka, the Lahanis are yet to find their pace for satisfying wins.

Having had a shaky start, consecutive wins will keep them in the running for a finals appearance. Tomorrow, they take on Hela Wigman.

Competition favourites, Agmark Gurias, remain fourth on the ladder. Despite having a good run in round one, the Gurias have been shaken up by the top two. They travel over to Mendi to face the Muruks, who are sitting on equal fourth with Wigman.

Both Port Moresby based franchise, The Vipers and Gulf Isapeas find themselves in the bottom four of the ladder. The Vipers head up to face Hagen Eagles in Hagen, while the Isapeas take on Waghi Tumbe in Port Moresby.
