Inglis thanks Papua New Guinea

Australian Prime Ministers 13 Captain, Greg Inglis, thanked PNG for his unforgettable experience in the country.

He said he felt like a rock star as soon as he stepped out of the Jacksons International airport last week Thursday.

He was amazed after receiving a huge welcome at the airport, saying he was surprised at the way the fans reacted.

That wasn’t the last of it, as the chanting of his name continued all throughout their short stay in Papua New Guinea.

Even after the match on Saturday, people lined up outside the stadium to catch their last glimpse of the superstar.

It was his first time in the country, and he thanked PNG for the continuous support during their short stay.

He spoke highly of the facilities at the National Football Stadium, saying it is NRL standard.
