Ingenuity at times of disaster: Logs for Cash

An ingenious man has started turning flooded rivers in Markham into profit.

Yarus Roaitz expects to make a few thousand kina duringthe wet season from hundreds of logs washed down fromthe mountains.  

Armed with a chainsaw, Yarus is sawing hardwoods and sellingthem for K30.00 a piece.
