 Teachers with fake qualifications seeking teaching positions in Eastern Highlands Province will be arrested by the police. This was revealed by Provincial Director Albert Wesley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wesley expressed this during the dedication service of Eastern Highlands Province teachers held recently in Goroka at the YC Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Teachers with falsified documents will be arrested and charged by police, we are scrutinizing every teacher’s qualification document to ensure they are qualified to teach,” Wesley said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the Eastern Highlands Provincial Education department focuses on delivering quality education for every student from Childhood Education up to Secondary and Technical -Vocational schools. Their efforts are enhanced under the theme for the division, \u201cProvide quality education by creating positive school culture with God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wesley also acknowledged outgoing Senior School inspector Mupe Kaupa during the occasion for his dedication and mentorship to teachers in the past 20 years\u2019 service to the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaupa while delivering his last speech emphasized strongly for partnership between schools, teachers and other Government departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said education is one part of the whole government system, that must perform its duties as expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
