Human Rights violations still an issue in PNG

The Ombudsman Commission says human rights violations and all forms of discrimination are still widely practiced in Papua New Guinea despite laws to the contrary.

This was the message by Ombudsman Commission’s Highlands’s regional officer Billy Kopen.

He was speaking during the world human rights day celebrations in Mt Hagen last week.
