The Hides PDL 7 Special Purpose Authority is aiming to carry out its plans and deliver services to people in its constituency. Chairman, Andy Hamaga, says among concerned issues are the overdue benefits of the LNG Project and review of the UBSA and LBBSA.
The Authority received K1 million recently from the State for its administration and operational costs.
Andy Hamaga who has been at the forefront of the Authority, says it is time the Authority open dialogue with development partners to improve level of services in the Hides PDL 7 area. Chairman Hamaga added that many outstanding issues remain between the resource owners, State and developer.
The Hides 7 is apparently a key section of the PNG LNG project in Hela.
With the clan vetting process concluding with a review soon to be announced, the Hides 7 SPA is calling on the Government to fast track the process.
