National Soccer League Reigning Champions Hekari United, are set to takethe field.
Hekari, who wonthe championship over POM FC last year, has already started its training session with Solomon Island imports Joachim Waroi, Tuti Zama and new recruit Nicholas Muri.
The National Soccer League competition is set to kick off next month, andthe heat is already mounting amongthe football clubs.
Hekari United Football Club has no time to waste and is already onthe field going through fitness training asthe 2013/2014 NSL season unfolds.
The arrival of new recruit Nicholas Muri will be a bonus for the team.
“I’m happy to join Hekari to prepare for the O-League andthe NSL,” said Muri.
Muri from Solomon Islands will team up with Joachim Waroi and Tuti Zama.
The Fijian imports Pita Belaitoga and Taniela Waqa will be joiningthe team soon.
Team Manageress Vonnie Kapi Natto said it will be an exciting season for all teams to go head to head inthe competition that will go right down tothe wire.
She said Hekari has a mammoth task ahead includingthe O-League Championships.
Meanwhile, suspension on changing NCD Public Servant Soccer Association to NCD Football Association has been uplifted bPNG Football Association underthe condition thatthe name remains as NCD Public Servant Soccer in order to take part in anPNGFA Sanctioned Tournaments.
NCDPSSA has a busy schedule ahead includingthe youth programs.
