Hekari beats Laitepo in Lae

Hekari United put on a great match against Gigira Laitepo in Lae, defeatingthem 4 goals to nil.

Despite wet conditions, Hekari’slipped its way through a win, maintaining its top spot onthe Competition ladder.

Hekari Joachim Woroi scoredthe first goal ofthe match inthe first halfthen anther one inthe second half.

Gigira Laitepo struggled throughthe slippery field with good defends, but Champions,the men in red escaped through gaps with Wama and Jack makingtheir way into Gigira’s goal mouth scoring a goal each.

The wet conditions slowedthe pace ofthe game but Hekari managed to get four goals counted beforethe game ended.

Hekari will face West New Beitain in Port Moresby this Wednesday.

Meanwhile inthe Ox and Palm Women National Soccer League, Mungkas FC will take onthe Kavieng Hotel Yamaros Football Club.
