Minister for Sport and Pacific Games, Justin Tkatchenko has congratulated Agmark Rabaul Gurias ontheir win against Nothern pride Rugby League team of Cairns.
The Gurias won 29 – 22.
Coach Michael Marum received much deserved praise for his team’s performance withnessed by an impressed Kumuls coach Adrian Lam.
Best for the Gurias were half back Ase Beas with a hatrick of tries, a conversion and field goal taking his personal tally to 15 points earningthe player ofthe match awards.
The Gurias are current Digicel Cup Premiers for 2012 and have played inthe grand final ofthe competition inthe last 3 years and recognized asthe most professionally managed team inthe competition.
