Director ofthe National ResearchInstitute Dr. Thomas Webster in a commentary called onthe government to give serious attention to implementing plans to see real change.
He saidthe government has launched many plans since independence with so much money wasted on celebrations of those plans butthe results were not obvious.

He is also concerned that althoughthe Prime Minister directed his ministers and departmental heads early this year to do less travel,there were still more overseas travels, hosting and participation at conferences both internationally and nationally, taking up government officersu2019 time to implementthe many plans.

Dr. Webster said without implementation, those plans amounted to nothing.
