Giru Waghi Tumbe thanks Fans for the Support as they prepare for Semi-final Clash Against Agmark Gurias

Digicel Cup team Giru Waghi Tumbe thanks fans and supporters for their undying support during the 2018 Digicel Cup season as the team prepares to face Agmark Gurias in the Semi-finals this weekend (Sunday, August 12) at National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.

“On behalf of the Giru Limited and it’s management we would like to thank you all for the constant support given to the Giru Waghi Tumbe team.”

According to the Management, this year was a tough year for them but they had made it through to the finals.

“Our aim this year was to be in the top 5 finals but we made it to top 3. With a win, this weekend or not doesn’t bother us as we have reached our goal set at the beginning of the season, any win from now on is a bonus for us.”

Currently, in the 3rd spot among the top 5, the Tumbe team believe they have set their foundation right in this year’s competition and will come out stronger in the years to come.

Whilst inviting fans and supporters along to this Sunday’s (August 12) match at National Football Stadium in Port Moresby, the Giru Waghi Tumbe is optimistic of the outcome of the as it takes on the Agmark Gurias, one of the strongest team in the Digicel Cup Competition.

Earlier in the competition, the two teams have already played in the rounds (Round 16) at Kalabond Oval in Kokopo which saw a score difference of 12 points in favour of Gurias.

The team has also announced its semi-final line-up against Gurias which is as follows:
