Gigera Training for Premiership

Gigara Laitepo players were hard at training after beating newcomers, Lae FC, in their first clash for this season on Saturday.

According to the team’s coach, Lae, failing to score a goal in its first match in the National Soccer league on Saturday proved that Gigera’s training is paying off.

Gigera-Laitepo has a few young talents. Raw footballers, who are now, in training with one task in mind; they are focused on an NSL Premiership.

They train every day, with an army fitness instructor in Lae’s Igam barracks.

Gigera are on by this weekend, but they are still training like they have a game next week.

They want to repeat the same success they had last week.

But by half time they had Lae FC fans going home. The game had been filled with yellow cards.

At yesterday’s training, was Last Saturdays three goal hero, Jamal Seeto. Seeto was dubbed a weapon for the Gigarea’s since his signing from Besta FC, Last week.

“The win goes back to the team,” said Jamal Seeto, after the game on Saturday where he scored a hat-trick that afternoon against Lae FC.

He has been training with the team this week and could prove lethal in combination with his team members.
