Geua John made history by becomingthe firsPNG woman to makethe grand final ofthe Oceania Belliards and Snooker Championships but fell short of victory.

Geua faced young Jessica Woods of Australia inthe best of seven frames, losingthe grand final 5-2.

Geua wasthe comeback queen duringthe 10-day Oceania Belliards and Snooker Championships here in Port Moresby.

Down 2 nil duringthe opening shots ofthe grand final match, Geua made a comeback to drawthe match 2 all against young Australian Jessica Woods.

Bet Jessica with clever potting shot to victory 5-2. A relieved Jessica Woods was just happy to get away with a win.

Mthew Belton, aWorld Champion tag to his name couldn’t rely on his world class tactics to get him through this time around.

A colourful and laid back closing ceremony was a fitting end to a challenging and wonderful week of high standard Belliards and Snooker Championships.
