Germany arrived in Port Moresby today.
The Germans are the favorites of this tournament having been crowned champions in the three previous competitions.
Also arriving today, two of the semi-finalist of the UEFA U-19 Women’s Championship, Spain and Sweden.
Spain and Sweden will mark their second appearances in this tournament. Both teams have a vast number of players who participated in the European championships and World Cup.
Democratic Peolple’s Republic of Korea is another team that arrived early this morning. The team boasts an incredible record at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup marking their sixth appearance.
Dubbed as one of the globes most successful in the competition, Korea DPR will undoubtedly enter this competition as one of the favorites as well.
