Games Organising Committee Officers In Glasgow

Officers from the 2015 Pacific Games were on a mission to Glasgow to see firsthand, how the games will be run.

The two, Salote Doko and Sine Basinauro, were part of Team PNG’s administration.

While there, the two will observe the key functional areas in accreditation, sporting venues and social festival activities taking place at the Games.

This is Salote Doko and Sine Basinauro, who represented the Games Organising Committee or GOC as observers at the Commonwealth Games.

Chef de Mission, Emma Waiwai, is the chairperson of GOC and will be working closely with these two women to have the best possible access to all functional areas of the games.

It is part of the 2015 Pacific Games Organizing Committee to equip their team as they prepare to host the 15th Pacific Games.

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony is set for Thursday morning PNG time, and already work can be seen.

Earlier on over the weekend, the Scottish National Youth Theatre Troup put up a theatrical performance welcoming the teams.

It was truly a nice way to settle the athletes who were first timers on international duties.

The energetic tempo of rehearsals signal what’s expected to be a spectacular opening ceremony.

The Scottish Community treated it, the Scottish way as they moved to the vibe, polishing for the memorable opener.

The Commonwealth Games executives aimed to have this commonwealth Games a lasting legacy, and a memorable one for all.
