Police teams investigatingthe Rabaul Queen Disaster have run out of time and money.
They were given fourteen days to conductthe investigations but it is understoodthey still have to interviewthe crew and captain.
The Team lLeadershave refused to comment onthe matter, but police sources saythe Rabaul and Lae teams have been forced out oftheir accommodation and hired vehicles have been withdrawn bythe companies.
Members ofthe public in Rabaul and Kokopo have accusedthe O’Neill government of paying lip service tothe Rabaul Queen investigations.
An additional twenty one days requested bythe teams has not been approverd due to lack of funds.
