First Air Niugini Retrofit Aircraft Arrives

National Flag Carrier Air Niugini has stepped up in comfort and style withthe arrival of its first retrofit aircraft.

 

The retrofitting ofthe Be ing aircraft puts Air Niugini on par with ther international airline.

The retrofit Be ing 767 – 383 series is said to enhancethe travelling experience of passengers on board Air Niugini.

 

It comes fitted withthe luxuries of a modern aircraft.

 

From spacious legs rooms with a seating capacity of 188 seats, 28 business class and 160 economy class.

 

Passengers can now sleep with ease, comfort and in privacy while enjoyingthe latest inflight entertainment system.

 

Air Niugini Chief Executive Officer Simon Foo says this milestone achievement representsthe commitment of staff.

 

Similar retrofit arrangement will be rolled out to all its Be ing fleets to ensurethe same standard is maintained.

 

With 40 years of operation it is fitting to liftthe standard of air service to be on par with ther international airlines.

 

State Enterprise Minister Ben Micah expressed satisfaction onthe success ofthe airline. Bet he says more needs to be done to make air travel more affordable tothe bulk ofthe population travelling domestically.
