Fifty plus Babies born on Christmas Day

Dozens of babies were born across the country on Christmas Day.

Before midnight, Port Moresby General Hospital is expected to deliver about thirty.

Meanwhile hospitals in other parts of the country also welcomed Christmas babies.

Angau recorded eight babies by midday; Modilon Hospital in Madang delivered six babies; Vunapope Hospital in Rabaul delivered two; one delivered in Bougainville and Kundiawa general Hospital welcomed three babies.

Popondetta General Hospital admitted three mothers who are still waiting for their Christmas babies that day, while Alotau general hospital refused to disclose any information.
