As the platform for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2016, Papua New Guinea has gained recognition on the world stage and not only in the code.
And this has generated countless commendations from FIFA as well as an international audience.
After three weeks of playing host to the biggest sporting event, by status to PNG, tomorrow will see the conclusion of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Papua New Guinea 2016.
During the course of the tournament, the players, plus officials from 15 different countries experienced a little of PNG, apart from playing football.
Looking at the organising stand point, generally, it has been a success.
Supporting Smith’s remarks, FIFA LOC CEO, Seamus Marten remarked, receiving positive feedback from FIFA and the international community, shows that PNG has proven its capability to host world events.
