Federer Praises Djokovic

By Dion Kombeng – EM TV Sport, Port Moresby

As the first grand slam of the year, the Australian open, is about to begin, Roger Federer believes that Novak Djokovic is in sensational form for having a spectacular year in 2015.

The Swiss master, Federer, seeded third at Melbourne Park, was beaten in the U.S. Open and Wimbledon finals by Djokovic last year, as well as in the decider for the season-ending World Tour Finals.

But 17-times grand slam champion Federer still showed he had the weapons to topple the Serb, winning three of their eight clashes last year.

Serena Williams brushed off concerns about her fitness and declared herself “at 130 percent” for her Australian Open title defence

The Australian Open, the first grand slam of the year, begins in Melbourne tomorrow.
