Local MP, Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, saidthe Joint District Priority Budgetary Committee will meet and approver projects in health, education, roads and law & order.

 

The Prime Minister paid a short visit to his people inthe Pangia district yesterday.

 

Mr. O’Neill was invited to attendthe Pangia Risoli Memorial Secondary School Graduation and made this announcementthere yesterday.

 

He was warmly received bythe staff, parents and students’ofthe secondary school andthe people.

 

Mr. O’Neill toldthe grade 10 and 12 graduates to committhemselves totheir studies inorder be successful inthe future.

 

He promised a computer each for the students’beginning next year and added that education will continue to remain a priority for his district.

 

Mr. O’Neill also expressed his concern that law and order was a key factor hindering development in his district. He said next year, a mobile unit and a magistrate will be based in Pangia to address this problem.
