ENB POWER OUTAGE

The power outage in East New Britain Province has affected business operations in the province.

The Tamur Centre in Kokopo has been reported to be facing financial burden on the use of standby generators to cater for the whole building due to the constant black outs the province has been facing.

Tamur Centre Admin Officer Darden Titi expressed her concern that they are a business in the province (commercial real estate) that houses provincial and national government officers and experiencing power-outage for a while now is unacceptable.

She appealed to PNG Power Limited to release a notice regarding this issue so that they will be aware of what the cause is and why the constant power outages.
